Books Received

Until 1988 Rosary College published the International Journal of Reviews in Library and Information Science. A number of publishers continued to send books to IJRLIS for review after is ceased publication, until adequate notification could be sent to them. Considering the more limited scope of Third World Libraries, we have chosen only a few of those books for review in its pages; those not reviewed are listed here. We encourage publishers to send us review copies of titles that are concerned with Third World development matters, librarianship, or information science. We are also interested in reviewing books which address the relationship of libraries and information to development, whether or not in the Third World context. And we will be pleased to review materials in any area of librarianship or information studies if the topic and treatment are potentially of interest to librarians in the developing nations.
