Abstract
Knowledge is not now just a resource but the resource. It remains to be seen, however, whether this is a paradigm shift, for it is clear that the concept of the exchange of information as a capital good has not been supplanted. But what is knowledge, and what is knowledge management, and how can it be mobilised in rural regions? This paper addresses this and other issues surrounding the debate.Downloads
